ISSTT 2021 | Baeza, Spain | June 28 - July 1, 2021

The ISSTT conference to be held in Spain for the first time!

Dear colleagues,

The Local Organizing Committee is pleased to announce that the 32nd International Symposium on Space Terahertz Technology (ISSTT 2021) will be held in Baeza, Spain from June 28th to July 1st, 2021.

This will be the first time this conference will take place in Spain, which has been made possible by the strong support of the Tourism Office of Spain in Los Angeles and the Baeza City Hall. Baeza is an Andalusian walled town in the province of Jaen, in southern Spain. It lies perched on a cliff in the Loma de Ubeda, the range separating the Guadalquivir River to its south from the Guadalimar to its north. It is now principally famed for having some of the best-preserved examples of Italian Renaissance architecture in Spain. Located near the historic city of Granada, Baeza is one of the 15 UNESCO World Heritage sites in Spain and is full of Renaissance buildings and cobbled streets that you will be surprised to see in the south of Spain.

The official ISSTT 2021 website (www.isstt2021.com) is now active and includes important details about the conference (venue information, high-level conference schedule, social activities, lodging, travel options, organizing committees, etc.) as well as preliminary key dates. The call for abstract is expected to be issued in early October, with a deadline in January 2021.

Please note that the Local Organizing Committee and the Scientific Organizing Committee are well aware of the uncertainties caused worldwide by the COVID-19 pandemic and that travel restrictions might be extended well into year 2021. Because of that reason, the ISSTT 2021 committee has secured an alternative date for the conference in October 4-6, 2021, should conditions do not improve as expected by end of this year 2020 and the conference needs to be postponed to later in the year.

For more information and updates, please visit the symposium website listed above. For specific questions or concerns, contact us at: isstt2021@gmail.com. Please follow ISSTT2021 in Facebook, Twitter and Instagram (@isstt2021) to receive the latest updates via social media.

We look forward to your participation.

Sincerely,

Jose V. Siles on behalf of the ISSTT 2021 Local Organizing Comittee
